( The Primate delivering the Primatial Address)

The Primate and Archbishop of Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, His Grace Most. Revd. Nicholas Okoh in his charge to the nation appreciated the host Diocese for the quality preparation and hospitality during the program, The Primate called on the delegates to pray for successful coexistence and stability of the country.

He commended the Federal government for the introduction of schools children’s feeding program, payment  of stipends  for the unemployed as well as the renewed vigour in its anti- corruption crusade in the country.This he said will help in redeeming  the battered image of the country.

The cleric wants the federal government to spread the corruption war to all  the three tiers of government , all ministries, agencies and boards. Speaking on theme of the meeting , the Primate enjoined to remain focuses as God is ready to uphold the unity of the country.

Most. Revd. Okoh however condemned the serial killings in Southern kaduna, Kafanchan, among other areas. The Primate also called on the Federal government , to as a matter of urgency wage war on those herdsmen carrying live ammunition around without license to do so, describing it as highly inimical to the continuous peace and stability of the country. primate Okoh later led other bishops in praying especially for Governor Ibikunle Amosun and the State government for them to record more success in office.
