It was indeed a glorious service on the 22nd of May, 2017 as the Diocesan, Rt. Rev Oludaisi Adekunle celebrates one of his archdeacon, Venerable Joshua Dahunsi Omole as he celebrates his 50th birthday anniversary.

Also at the occasion was the retired bishop of Egba Diocese, Rt. Rev. Mathew O. Owadayo, dignitaries which included archdeacons, canon and priests of the diocese. Clergy wives also joined in celebrating with the husband of their coordinator, Mrs. J.B. Omole. People from the churches he had served were also present to celebrate with the man of God.

Venerable Olusakin celebrated the Holy Eucharist service.

In his sermon, Venerable S. Abodunrin started with the song “Count your blessings name them one by one”, as he asked the celebrant to sit back and count the goodness of God in his life. He further appreciated God for sparing the life of the celebrant up till now. He appreciated the lord bishop for the opportunity given to him to preach at the occasion.

He continued by asking the celebrant to reflect more on the words of Psalm 91:17, which he prayed for the celebrant that the Lord will establish the work of his hands.

He concluded by thanking the wife of the celebrant for her support to her husband in the ministry.

Students from OSMAS gave special rendition to God to celebrate their vice principal. Revd. Engr. Tunde Awolana coordinated the cake cutting session and photographs were taken by the celebrants and well-wishers.

It was a fantastic time during the thanksgiving time as the celebrant fondly called J.D with his children and friends danced to the altar. He was prayed for by the retired bishop, RT. Rev. Mathew O. Owadayo.

The celebrant gave the vote of thanks and the processional out hymn was sung.
