On Thursday 18th May, 2017 it was the turn of Isan-Nla Archdeaconry to welcome the diocesan, Rt. Rev. Emmanuel O. Adekunle to their domain. This they did with great enthusiasm which was evident in all areas of their preparation.

Haven seen the efforts and desire of both the workers and members to have new Church Buildings at Woru and Agbera, where the diocesan laid the foundation for this church buildings, and a Vicarage at Idowu Oforan and considering the shortage of man power and finance in this rural churches the diocesan made the following donations to assist the churches:

All confirmation candidates gathered at St. Peter, Ikanna Balogun prepared to take this all important step in the path of faith. In his sermon the bishop admonished all present to stay clear of the Three Poisons of Faith, which he listed as Fear, Disobedience and Double Mindedness, taking his text from John 20:19.
