On Saturday 27th<\/sup> of May, 2017, it was the turn of Sodubi Archdeaconry to be visited by the diocesan. The visit started at Church of Holy Innocent, Oluwo. The diocesan was colorfully welcomed by members of the archdeaconry amidst songs. He encouraged the congregation to be steadfast in the Lord and also admonished them in regards their building project which he donated the sum of N250,000 towards the church building.<\/p>\n

The bishop and his entourage later moved to Christ the King Church, Opako Adigbe were the bishop was given a rousing welcome by the pupils of Bishop Akiyande Primary School, Opako Adigbe. In celebration of the Children\u2019s Day Holiday, the diocesan gave the children gifts to mark this year\u2019s celebration.<\/p>\n

The next stop was St. Mathew Church, Lademo where the people came out in numbers to welcome the bishop and his entourage. At this church, the diocesan gave the church the sum of N100,000 for the painting of the vicarage and the renovation of the church building.<\/p>\n

Confirmation service was held at St. Paul\u2019s Church, Sodubi, the archdeaconry seat. More than 60 people receive the laying of hands of the bishop.<\/p>\n

The next day, Sunday 28th of May, 2017, four other churches in the archdeaconry were also visited. The churches are Ateroko, Sogbamu, St. Micheals ans All Angels Apena \u2013 Ojere, Anglican Church, Mologede. The diocesan donated 25 bags of cement at Sogbamu for the expansion of the church project.<\/p>\n

The visit ended with stop at St. Paul\u2019s Chapel, Onikolobo Abeokuta where the diocesan offered prayers for the members as he had been doing at other churches in the archdeaconry.\"\"<\/p>\n
