LOWA ARCHDEACONRY ABLAZE FOR CHRIST AS BABA EGBA VISITS

The entire Lowa archdeaconry was ablaze for Christ as bishop visited the archdeaconry on the 24th of June, 2017.

The bishop, Rt. Revd. Emmanuel Oludaisi Adekunle arrived at St. Peter’s Church, Bosero where he met anticipating members of the church eagerly awaiting his arrival. He donated 15 cassocks for the choristers of the church after he had admonished them to be steadfast in faith and to love the things of God.

The journey continued to Emmanuel Church, Ojeleje where the diocesan encouraged members of the church not to lose their standing in the God they serve.

Afterwards, the bishop with his entourage visited St. Peter’s Church Makuleri where the diocesan promised to assist the church with the roofing of the church. He also invigorated them to continue in their faithfulness to God and their leaders.

 The visit continued to the archdeaconry seat where a confirmation service was held. The diocesan in his message, highlighted expressly the fruits of the flesh as well as the fruit of the Spirit as he admonished those to be confirmed likewise the people present to be filled with the spirit and avoid the manifestation of the works of the flesh in their lives.

The diocesan later visited Odelaitan/ Lalemi church, an offshoot of the church at Lowa. He met enthusiastic members. They lauded the efforts of Mrs. Soyinka towards the growth of the church and contributions to the welfare of the aged members.

The diocesan offered prayers on the newly acquired land for the building of the church structure as he named the church Church of Epiphany, Odelaitan.

The journey ended at St. Marks Church Toba where the bishop attended to issues which cropped up the church. With which the bishop offered episcopal prayers for the church and the archdeaconry.
